We are an LGB human rights organization. Don’t like indoctrination of children and teenagers by radical gender activism? Neither do we. But there is a media black out on our voices for obvious reasons. If you want pre-created documents to send to your school officials we’ve done the work for you. Our documents are well argued, have plenty of citations, and come from a centrist and secular perspective. https://thehomoarchy.com/lgbt-trans-parents-schools-activism

Brilliant how you laid this out. Thank you.

I am vested in this issue as well because I am a Californian. I’ve recommend my children to absolutely leave the state when they have children.

Very troubling that AB 1955/Newsome FORCES school employees to be silent and maintain an active deception re a child’s psychological well being if they notice socially transitioning.

Parents carry the Health Insurance for the child.

AB 1955 absolutely delays care for these children.

The State, by this law, delays a child’s receipt of ANY medical treatment for gender dysphoria children ( ie a general medical examination, depression/anxiety treatment, assessment for ADD, Autism), as the parent is prevented from knowing the gender issues observed in school.

Is this intended?

Fostering the delay of or withholding necessary medical or psychological care of a child is child abuse.

Is the State really ready to assume the role of parent?

Id like to know, can CPS be called on school officials and employees for withholding from legal caregivers an observed psychological diagnosis? Gender Dysphoria.

BTW , I thought that just having Gender Dysphoria puts a child at risk of su***de? I guess they’re willing to risk it.

I can't blame anybody for leaving the state, or encouraging others to do so. Me, I'm stubborn, I want to fight. This is my home.

But it's also important I think for people that flee to realize that the same thing will happen eventually in so-called "red" states if normal people don't get active. I think all the points you bring up are correct. I think that a goal is for the state to dominate every aspect of our lives, including child rearing--the gender movement aligns with this, expansion of public sector bureaucracies align with this. And, unfortunately, as it becomes harder for regular people to make ends meet, the expansion of social services from the schools, like free food and medical care, is a big carrot.

Yes, my family is still here. Very true, stay and fight back.

I’ve been seriously following this issue since reading Abigail Shrier’s first book and finding Xulansic (before her censorship on YT). I really don’t think the average person recognizes the literal tragedy that gender affirming care IS.

Most people cannot stomach the details.

I appreciate that your Substack put a focus on Protect Kids CA and the petition. I hadn’t known that I might be able to get involved. I really did not know how. I’m glad to read the depth of your conviction. It has greatly encouraged mine. Again appreciate your article!

Yes, normal people are revolted by the whole thing. Then they put their heads in the sand. So here we are.

The fact that you never heard of this confirms the media blackout combined with the lack of funds for having signature gatherers in front of every grocery store!
